Speaking About Faith

You’ve probably heard about Saddleback’s Civil Forum this past Saturday night. Evangelical pastor Rick Warren hosted the event, which touched on questions of faith, character, and morality… with presumed presidential nominees John McCain and Barack Obama.

There’s a lot of talk out there about this, but I came across a great piece by Ryan Messmore, of The DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society at the Heritage Foundation.

His article about this very subject appeared in National Review prior to the Rick Warren event.

There’s a lot of talk out there already about this forum, but I wanted to draw your attention this article. It’s defintely worth a read - especially for young voters and those who are interested in young evangelicals.
