“You Can’t Create Experience, You Must Undergo it.” - Albert Camus, Author

by Steve Bierfeldt ~ August 14, 2008

Barack Obama served eight years in the Illinois State Senate and fewer than four in the United States Senate.  His limited experience immediately calls into question his ability to serve as the most powerful man in the world.  An even greater uncertainty than his inexperience, however, is his attitude toward the law he must swear to uphold upon entering office.  Along with the burden of the Presidency comes the responsibility of serving one’s citizens with honor.  A President must respect the history, culture, and law of the great men who came before him.

Obama has charmed his way to a Presidential nomination using his oratory skills and personal charisma.  But those who look closer see the illusion fade, and find a young man without regard for history or Constitutional tradition.  They find a man bent on transforming the United States into a radical left shell of what it once stood for, and what it could stand for again.

Barack Obama betrayed U.S. law in favor of naïvely embracing the millions of illegal immigrants flocking across the United States border.  He expressed no disdain or remorse as the values of an American culture and a unifying language began to fade away.  He issued no call to preserve that for which our forefathers fought and died.

Throughout our proud history, many United States Presidents have remained at their post, fanning the flame of the American spirit.  These men defended the American dream and kept American culture alive.  Today, the citizens of this republic stand ready to protect their nation and their way of life from those who would manipulate and usurp such freedom.

Those who wish to protect the American dream of liberty must be ever vigilant.  They must be men of words backed up by action, thoughtful and well informed, following in the footsteps of our forefathers and learning from their experiences.  These men stood ready to protect the American dream, and American civilization.  Barack Obama is not one of these men.

    Steve,

I really enjoyed your first paragraph, explaining Obama’s inexperience. I find it extremely humorous, that you yourself, a child of only 23 years criticizing someone for their inexperience. Let me ask you this, how experienced are you to write this book? How can someone who has spent so little time in the US realm of politics have the experience necessary to make these accusations?

As far as betraying U.S. law, should we even bring up the topic of George W. Bush’s administration? I’d like to hear your response on that subject.

That being said, stop creating experience and undergo it.

Very much appreciated M. However you resorted right back to typical name calling. There is no mention of George W. Bush in my post. Criticism of Obama does not mean admiration of other candidates or officials. Those reading this, realize this is the typical response of anyone who supports Obama. Unable to answer the criticisms they have to resort to personal attacks. At my young age and with my limited political experience I may be able to write a book, but I am in no way qualified to be President. I suppose in that respect I am actually quite similar to Barack Obama! : -)
