Obama to Plumber: I want to “spread the wealth”

This past weekend, Barack Obama was out walking door-to-door in Holland, Ohio, when he came across a plumber who confronted Obama about his tax plan. When trying to explain why he wanted to tax Joe and redistribute wealth, Obama said: “It’s not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance at success too. I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

Joe the Plumber didn’t like that answer. Why should the government take from Joe’s hard work and decide who should get Joe’s hard-earned money? Joe was on the Neil Cavuto show this week to explain what he thought of Obama’s answer. Here’s a great little clip that shows Obama on video talking about why he wants to “spread the wealth.”
